Labradoodle Puppy Shopping List

Food.
Please select either to continue with the food we feed (Natural Balance, Duck & Potato) or some other good holistic, age appropriate, puppy food.
Stainless steel water bowl and food bowl.
Collar with ID tag.
We do supply an adjustable puppy collar and, he/she will also have his/her microchip tag and later his/her license can be put on the collar. Leashes come in variety of lengths and material. I recommend getting a lightweight one for walking and perhaps a flexi-lead for more freedom for your pup, with safety in mind.
Crate or kennel.
You puppy comes with his/her crate. This crate should be sufficient for quite a while.
Puppy gate or Exercise pen.
A baby gate works very well. You will want to keep your puppy out of certain areas, at least until your puppy is housebroken.
Bedding.
It's a really good idea to get a washable bed or a bed with a washable cover. You could cover the actual bed with a plastic bag, then put his/her washable cover over the plastic bag that is covering the bed. That's experience talking :)
Feces elimination tools.
You will need a “Pooper Scooper “for your yard and plastic bags for your walks.
Treats.
Keep lots of training “yummy tid bits “around. I find that if I make whatever "goodie" I am offering to my furry loved ones... really sound delicious... they could care less what it is, they simply want it :)
Kong toys.
I love these toys... They're safe and they can be filled with "goodies" and they bounce in every direction. We must have 12 assorted Kongs around here, they're wonderful dog toys.
Comb and or a brush.
I use combs here at Aladdin, particularly "The Master Grooming Tool" "Ultimate Coarse Combs". It is a wooden comb and can be ordered from www.PetEdge.com. I also use a wonderful Dematting tool "Bernia Dematting Combs" and can be ordered from the very same Pet Edge.
Shampoo.
I use a Pet Silk product (again from PetEdge) it is Pet Silks Moisturizing Shampoo. Or, please use a tear-less Shampoo.
